4 weeks agoI have been a customer of Vegan Vato since their Farmer Market days when they cooked on a trailer. This place is the best kept secret in the High Desert. The concise menu insures that every meal is made with the freshest of ingredients. No fake meat here - mushrooms, hibiscus, Jackfruit and spices so full of flavor that you cannot believe it’ Vegan. I bring my carnivore friends here every chance I get and they are amazed. Yes, even the Marines! Don’t pass up this place. You are going to love it!

7 months agoDelicious, fresh vegan food! So happy to find this place on our way home from Vegas. Well worth trekking through the rain for today. The “fish” tacos were our favorite. The “Carne asada” was our second favorite. Ample portions. Great customer service and will be making this our food stop heading to Vegas and back 😍

a year agoHighlights: Incredible vegan dishes packed with bold, balanced seasoning. The rice stands out as some of the most flavorful around. The carne asada tacos were bursting with taste. The spot has a charming vibe with plenty of seating and a laid-back, open setup. They've consistently earned top local recognition for excellence over the years. Drawbacks: Parking isn’t the most convenient, especially with its location right next to the transit line. Despite being the only customer at the time, my order of the taco trio with rice took quite a while to come out. The pollo tacos didn’t quite deliver on flavor. The building felt warm and stuffy as if the air conditioning either wasn’t working or was barely noticeable.

a year agoA little hard to find because it’s inside an old historic building/bus station and there’s some road construction. Very good and unique food. Clean. Flavorful. Hibiscus tacos and “fish” tacos were delicious. Try the three taco plate! Kids liked a plain bean burrito.

a year agoToday was my first time trying vegan food and the vegan vato. Can I just say how surprised I was that I didn’t realize any difference from a regular taco. These tacos are really good and so is the rice. I will definitely be ordering again.

a year agoThis is located in the transportation center but the decor is really nice with a great vibe! The lady at the counter was exceptional. She explained everything on the menu to us and was happy to answer my questions about ingredients (I have a lot of allergies). The food not only looked but also tasted amazing. Really well done vegan food.

2 years agoDefinitely check The Vegan Vato out if you’re in the area! Vegans and meat eaters will love it. This vegan Mexican restaurant is amazing! 🔥 I love that they don’t use fake meats, instead they use natural substitutes such as jackfruit and hibiscus. This place is definitely a 10/10! Also I absolutely love the amazing events they are always hosting. My husband and I attended a cooking class and it was an incredible experience!
